Just removed my old Pioneer head unit, removed the radio pod and tried to install the new head unit. Should have been simple, however this is a TVR! The ISO connector was not in the pod unit area, it is tucked up behind the metal bar running along the dash, it seems to be inaccesssible.
Has anyone else encountered this problem, how can I access this are behind the metal bar. Can you remove the top of the dash?

Changed my head unit but cant remember any such problems and didnt remove pod. The hole was large enough to work thro and i added extra speaker wires as the mk1 has only wiring for two speakers. (bit naff!) Only suggestion would be to to get someone with small hands to try, probably female and they wont be best pleased with the sharp fibreglass edging. Pull the wires and try to manipulate the plug down past the frame.
Sorry not much help , D.
