New BMW Flat Twin Sportsbike Thingy
Discussion
A today's PH meet, there was a yellow BMW motorbike, can't remember the designation? It appeared a 1200 flat twin.
Anyway, it looked pretty good, and the old 1200 flat twin seems to produce more than 55bhp in this day and age. I liked it!
So what was it, and I presume it was someone on here?

R1200S, perhaps? That's a bit phat and wikkid for a BMW...

I am not really a fan of BMWs flat twin (despite my bike having one). They have a pretty unpleasant transition between on and off throttle in their current form (and yes, good throttle control can deal with it, but that is no excuse for such a cack transition), and they like higher gears, but get all lumpy at low revs, so filtering is a real pain, even leaving aside the witdht (of my R1200GS).
There is definitely room for improvement there.
