Traffic was much slower than usaul this morning between J30 and 31 N/B M1.Didn't think too much of it until I got to the roadworks at 31.Inside the "walled off" area of the road works were about 5 big police vans/buses full of plod with quite a few wandering around the works.....I must have counted over 20..........anyone any idea what had or was happening?

I heard that the roadworks company had started to supply doughnuts for breakfast for its staff.
