Getting around the track
Discussion
I'm a LM first timer, keen to spend a lot of time there.
I was wondering if it is a good or allowed within the grounds a pushbike (perhaps one of those fold-up ones) to use to get around.
Is it easy to ride to Indianapolis/Arnage spectator areas? or back to the town for supplies?
And a hefty lock?
Cheers!

Yes, plenty of people on bikes. Also go-peds, mini-motos and monkey bikes.
However, we use the car when travelling any distance. Once the race has started, you CAN drive fairly freely around the surrounding villages to get to different parts of the track. You CAN also then park when you get there. And you CAN then get back and get back into your camping area. Just means someone has to be sober at any point.

Plenty of people getting pi$$ed off at you and thinking/calling you an annoying twunt too. Not being run over by some drunk on a go-ped is one of lifes little achievements at Le Mans these days.
OK, so I have a sadistic streak, but I did have a good chuckle at the Le Policeman making it quite clear that you can't ride an unregister mini-moto down the (public) road behind Houx and that if the gentleman tried to ride it again Le Policeman would be keeping his bike. I don't know if you have ever seen someone pushing a mini-moto over any sort of distance but... it looked neither dignified nor comfortable.
Made I laugh.
