Attn:- DevilYellowCV8...Paul, have just had a quote back from JHP in Oz - boot lip spoiler in primer is £282 shipped! Just fitting & paint to be added! Not a bad price depending!

I s that the HSV(VXR) solid jobby or a rear wing style one? If the former, I know it sounds obvious but make sure it includes the extra end bits that mount on the L&R rear panels just above the tail light assy. Reason I say this is that when I shipped my Coupe out here I had to replace the centre section of the spoiler due to a nudge in the container and the quote for "bootlip spoiler" included just the centre bit

Hi Steven - the pic's I was shown show the complete lip spoiler that fits on the boot lid only...no gaps between the boot lid & spoiler...it appears a solid jobby! I'll try & attach the pics I was shown in the original quest for a quote!

Hello,

I think Paul mean the lip spoilers - these little fellas - www.jhp.com.au/monaro-gto/gto-spoilers.php

They are rather sweet I think - reminds me to try and get another quote from LSV and do a quick comparison (and the roof one to complete the set).

Cheers
Steven

Any idea if the bootlip would replace the VXR spoiler without leaving any visible holes?

You'd also have holes in the top of the rear quarter panels where the outer parts of the spoiler are bolted on as well as 4 or 5 five in the boot lid.

definate no IMO - holes on boot are two in centre (wire for brake light comes through one & centre bolt through the other) & one or two bolt holes at each side. Depends on area of bootlip spoiler but pix I've seen suggest it wouldn't cover them all. Either way, I guess these holes will need to be sealed for water ingress?

Then of course are the two holes on each rear qtr panel after you remove the other VXR solid spoiler bits. These will need filling & painting.

See this pic from when the coupe arrived with broken centre section - not too clear cos of dust & outline but may help?

Thanks, looks like it would need some bodywork.
