It would need some work to bring it up to "retail condition". The items I am aware of are as follows:
- driver's side headlight surround needs to be replaced and driver's side front wing needs repainting
- walnut dash (both sections) is split in a few places and would need to be replaced
- headlining along the top of the windscreen has come away - have stuck it back with some v strong double sided tape - it looks quite neat but a perfectionist would really want to put it back proeprly (i.e. windscreen out job)
- rear tyres are legal but won't be for long
The trade seem to reckon about £7k - 7.5k. What would be a realistic amount to expect to get privately come the Spring (assuming the headlight surround / front wing were sorted)?

I think as it is you should be able to find a buyer at around 9k - 9.5k. You have listed a few general things that need doing, but any potential purchaser who knows about these cars would be more interested in the chassis condition, engine, box and mechanicals before tyres and cosmetic issues also the low mileage may attract some buyers especially backed up with FTVRSH.
As a matter of reference I picked up my 1998 4.5 last June, be it with over double your recorded mileage, but with sound chassis and good mechanicals, with extensive service history for 9k. To be honest there didnt seem to be too many buyers knocking his door down.
You see cars of this age advertised on here for anything between 10 to 15k but not that many are sold, especially private sales.
