For some reason people don't understand that the price you charge for postage and packing is exactly that! It covers your time, materials and the shipping cost, not just the amount of money the post office charge!!!!

The only thing that shafts that theory is the aholes in distant lands that sell tat for 99pence and charge £30 to post it so that they still make mony on their item!

I check ebay regularly for items associated with the GT2 but your cover seemed to have slipped through my net unfortunately. confused

Lets hope the Pr!ck who did buy it does frequent the forum and now feels an even bigger Pr!ck! excuse the pun.

Just a thought but it might not have been the cost alone that was the issue.

I bought a cheap mobile phone on ebay and whilst I was not expecting much it arrived in a very thin padded envelope with no packing at all so it was free to crash around inside. It could easily have been smashed in the post. I politely let the seller know that I was happy with the purchase but that it could have been wrapped better as it could easily have been damaged - the next buyer of their wares may not be so lucky so it maybe an idea to wrap better.

Whilst its clear that your buyer gave you feedback in a grumpy a*se fashion for which I offer no defence, he/she may have had a point with respect to how it was actually wrapped for transit - it may of course have arrived having been driven over / put through shredder by parcels2go etc. through no fault of your own.

i know this is going off topic but i left neutral feedback for some guy who sold me a book, charged me about £3 p&p, then wrapped the paperback in brown paper and sent it second class costing him pennies!
He got the hump and then left me negative feedback calling me a whinger which peed me off as i'm 100% feedback till now... anyway, after a bit of email to and fro-ing, which included me pointing out that i only left neutral feedback (ie not negative) because i thought it was very average service and if he'd sent it 1st class none of this would have arisen - i just resented being effectively ripped off on p&p, we both agreed to 'drop the charges'.

Now if he would have enclosed a taxi receipt for the other £2.50, i wouldn't have 'whinged' at all!
