Hi All,

Just joined the ranks of Griffith owners, coming from an S3. Recently acquired a pre cat (from Pistonheads) and now looking forward to waking the neighbours with a V8....

No doubt I'll be posting all my daft questions on here soon....starting with...

Does anyone have a 2nd hand Steve Heath Griffith / Chimaera 'Bible' that they want to sell?

Hi Phil I'm right behind you going from an S as I'll be picking up my Griff in a couple of weeks. Whereabouts in Surrey are you?
Can't help with the bible I'm afraid, mine came with one, that is I paid a £500 deposit and walked away with it, bloody expensive book

Thanks for the welcome. Will post more details soon..... Suffice to say I bought the mica blue car recently advertised in PH, from a 'very nice man' in Chalfont St Giles. It does make a great noise......

Aha... that'll be the 400 then, on a school/college site? Nice motor mate.

Try ebay for the Bible.... they appear on there quiet often....... becareful though as they can go for as much as a new one.

Hope she's running ok, i'm missing the sound of that V8 but having a whale of a time in my Clio Cup!!

Funnily enough you've jogged my memory as I have a copy of the Steve Heath bible that was meant to go with the car!! Just drop me an e mail with your address and i will get it posted off to you, although wont be able to post until the weekend. Also whilst rummaging round my drawers I've also found the remote control that goes with the stereo (not that you've had it on i bet!!)

Yup that'll be me !!

Thought you may be interested to know that the cause of the little niggles you experienced on your test drive was down to a very sticky brake caliper clamping itself onto one of the front discs. Once i had a new one fitted the performance went up a notch, the juddering at higher speeds stopped and brake performance was much improved. Was pleased to get that solved before it was sold.

That'll be me then I bought it when we we're looking for a Chim, but went for an Elise instead, so its been sat on the bookself, good read though. Drop me a PM if you're interested

Good news. I knew something was wrong but I wasn't confident or knowledgeable enough to know what - d'oh! Pleased you got it sorted though, it's a nice car - esp. as you've now fixed that niggle.
