What can I say !!

drivinglickbouncesmokinbouncethumbupdriving

Totally transforms the car , except of course for that annoying low speed cut out .. That'll be the next job to do. It took a third of a tank of fuel to get to the OPC ... And half a tank to get home again!!!!

Off subject slightly ...

It made for an expensive service , what with having to pay for the PSE , 12k service AND the warranty .. The good news was I finally developed a case of sweaty arse syndrome (rms to you ..) , so they threw in a clutch for good measure ... FOR FREE!!

Nice one!

I have always thought of RMS as analogous to the dewy sheen of sweet perspiration on Mariah Carey's back after a good thorough pole-ing.

ballcock - get that cut out sorted pronto! Had the PSE installed a few weeks ago and absolutely love it. Spent a few minutes at my desk with some pliers and a diode, and sorted out the cut out. Now absolutely perfect if you ask me

mines in next week for service and RMS (which Porsche are paying for but not throwing the clutch parts for free - talk about the luck of the irish)

get out into them green country lanes and give the car some wellie

good lad. Once you have the PSE you wonder why Porsche just doesn't fit it as standard given how much it transforms the experience.

Did you get it fitted with or without the switch?

Guys - how much does this intrude on motorway cruising. I'm a bit disapointed by the standard sounds but I love the fact I can cruise at speed without getting tired.

It doesn't intrude at all. At motorway speeds i hardly notice any difference with having the PSE installed.

If you're worried about motorway cruising etc then go for the switchable PSE. Does cost more (has to be fitted by an OPC) but gives you the best of both worlds.

Saying that, the PSE in 'loud' mode isn't too intrusive on long journeys anyway (unlike some other aftermarket options).

Cheers - Erik

Second that - plus, if it ever did annoy you, you can just switch off

Thanks y'all!!

Yep , I had the switch fitted , which (including warranty) added CONSIDERABLY to my final bill , after much wailing , throwing of rattles , and tugging at touser suits (Ahem) they gave me 10% off the final bill , which payed for the clutch kit .. So tbh me saying the clutch kit was free was a slight exageration ..

I've found another distinct disadvantage of having fitted the zaurssst .. I'm away from home with my work these last few days (using the hotel computer as I type) and I've a GIANT pain in my arse right now at not being able to rev the shoite out of my newly endowed motor... mad

Guess I'll just have to pay a visit to our favourite barmaid instead , eh , Magic!!??
