Hi all,
Hope you are well?
Quick bit of advise please, going down to Le Mans this year and have got 2 pitches at Le houx, the one with electricity etc. What are the chances of actually being near an electrical hook up point and if so how much cable shall I take to stretch across to the nearest one?
Also does anyone know how large the pitches are as i am just trying to see what I could fit in there.
Any other bits of advise regarding Le Houx would be great
Cheers

The ACO will tell you that the pitch size is 5m x 7m - however there is always some danger of getting a tree on your pitch!
Houx is fully allocated so (as an idiot point) you need to make sure you're pitches are adjacent to each other.
Electric - wehn I was on Houx there was a column with power on it that was only 10m or so from the pitch but I imagine it must vary and I probably wouldn't take less than 20m of cable but perhaps someone else can be more helpful on this.
I'm pretty sure the plug in points require a normal french 2 pin plug - the big problem is usually capacity, it's worth having a 2 or 3 way adapter to help your chances of getting plugged in - also take some duct tape to tape your plug in so that nobody else unplugs it!
