Hi all! just wondered what people are paying for insurance and who with? Can they be insured as classics yet?(wishful thinking?)

Mines about £380.00 with Mannings.
Ltd to 5000 miles,

mines about £380 also with admiral i was amazed actually but that was the price thats not limited either think the excess was £250 btw 30 yrs driving though and never a claim

Heck of a lot cheaper than most supercars or "prestige" or "sports" wheels - I sold my Cerb and changed to an E39 M5 of same cost and my insurance more than doubled

As a general rule, TVRs are remarkably cheap to insure given their pedigree and performance. Guess they're not much use for ram-raiding and none are stolen to order for foreigners as they are scared by British Beef!

Well i'm 30 with my car on the drive in Dorset with 6 years no claims.
For 10k miles a year I pay around &650 with directline. I've got 3-4 years of TVR driving & I think that helps.

35, in stockport, limited to 5k per year and is insured as a 2nd car through AON Classic .. £303 a year.

i'm 28 and an IT manager living in NE London/Essex. Currently on a policy where I changed car from an M3 to an S3 then to the Cerb so prices are a bit messed up. I've been told by the Broker (a-plan) that my renewal in May will be £820 - thats cheaper than my old Chimaera........

If its a second use car, garaged and doing limited mileage then most classic car insurers will offer a price.
I know of an insurer that offers discounts to fellow Phers

Mines insured with Mannings through the TVR Club. It was as cheap as our old Renault Espace.
