Another "my useless OPC" thread....

Just got out of a long meeting to be greeted with 5 voicemails (each one sounding more stressed and annoyed) from various people at OPC Hatfield. The last one being quite rude and pretty much saying "Our driver is outside your house to pick up your car as agreed but you are not there.. blah blah" and how I'm inconsiderate and should've cancelled etc..
Erm, what the f*ck?...
Three weeks ago I called Hatfield to get an oil change, alignment check and a PSE fitted. After calling six times over two days to be told nobody was available and someone would call me back within the hour (never did) I finally got a call from someone who didn't know if Porsche retrofitted exhausts, asked whether an alignment check was "something to do with the geometry", and couldn't tell me how much an oil change would cost (at which point the conversation swiftly ended). I think I got the intern responsible for making the coffees..
One final annoyed call by me to someone who actually knew what they were talking about resulted in me being told that they couldn't do anything for three weeks, no courtesy cars were available and that they couldn't book in any cars that day because the person in charge of the schedules was off sick. As a result my car was never booked in..!
They now have the f*cking cheek to leave me voicemails at work b*tching how inconsiderate I've been to their precious delivery driver.
To the benefit of anyone working at Hatfield - it took me one phone call to my local indie who sorted everything about for less than half the price in less than a week.

Funny, I was there last week to get a 111 point check, followed by an extended warranty. Had no problem booking this in, however I was told that a courtesy car was unavailable.
Once there and finished chatting about my own car, I met the new chief of sales and expressed and interest in the Cayman S. Again had a chat about Porsches etc for a while, and he let me take a cayman S for the rest of the day, or until they finished with my car.
Thought that was mighty kind of them, just a shame I couldn't afford the cayman, for now at least, as it was a pleasure to drive.

Have to say that i phoned hatfield to arrange new rear shock for my gt3. Told one week for parts to be in stock and they would call. Sure enough, got the call. Dropped car in and was called later that afternoon to arrange collection. Couldnt have been easier.
