Lamborghini Owners Roll-Call - FIA GT3 Gallardo's unveiled

I have been asked by Lamborghini Wycombe if I want to invite some fellow Lambo pals & Pistonheaders over to the launch day for the FIA GT3 Series at Silverstone on Thurs 15th March. They will be launching / showing their 2 new Gallardo GT race cars. Anyone with a Lambo will get special access to the Paddock area (and park their cars in there).

All the teams will be there with all their cars trucks etc. As Lambo Wycombe (Team Modena) are the first full blown team to run Lamborghini in a full race series in the World they will get top billing. They will make sure that all Lamborghini's can get in the paddock and be directly involved with Lamborghini Wycombe.

Please can you let me know confirmed numbers, or call Graham Shultz at Lambo Wycombe to let him know

CONVOY PICK UP POINTS:

- 7.45am Holiday Inn Car Park, Aston Clinton Rd, Aylesbury, HP22 5AA
- 8.00-8.15am leave Holiday Inn for fruity drive down the back way into Silverstone
- 9.00-9.30am meet at WRC Technologies (Silverstone Business Park)

The event starts at around 10am at Silverstone.

I'm hoping to get a decent Lambo convoy together so we can all rock up at the gates at the same time etc.

We can arrange meet up points / convoys in once we know numbers etc (It would be better to rock up at Silverstone gates in a big group of Lambo's!)

Hi Doug, I'd imagine its an all day thing - let me check and report back tomorrow. I was thinking of hooking up a Lambo convoy from somewhere like Lambo Wycombe (just off M40) at about 9am (so we drive down the M40 just out of rush hour traffic).

Any chance you can get me an invite for this.
I am an amateur photographer and although I don't own a Lamborghini most of the guys in the Lambo section know me because I am forever taking pictures of their cars. I have recently attended such events as the Lamborghini Supercar celebration at Brooklands and the Ferrari owners club concours at Walton Hall.

Would love the chance to meet up with you guys and make a photographic record of the whole day.

Hi Tim, Lambo Wycombe have their own photographer - that said, I'm sure the Chaps on here wouldnt mind a few choice shots. Why dont you meet us at Lambo Wycombe in the morning and jump in with someone - then you can get some decent convoy shots on the M40 too

Hmmm, last time you saw me (10am), I had been out partying till 5.30am that morning - so I was somewhat tender to say the least! LOL (promise to be sober this time!.....I cant drive the Lambo with a hangover - its too bloomin noisy!!)

Paul, I'm presuming you will come down the M1 - therefore you wont want to be hitting the M25/M40 network at that time of the morning as rush hour is crap. That said, if you come off the M1 somewhere around Milton Keynes and cross country for 15 miles you could meet me at mine and you could follow me the other 15 miles to Lambo Wycombe across country. Might be best if you email me your mobile number and I can call you to work out some workable convenient logistics. Cheers Steve

Steve, sounds good mate, can do.......where are you in relation to the M1/A40 Oxford services cut off? I goto Northampton most days so know kinda where you mean. Just worried about that traffic on that M1 roadworks!!

I'll be leaving from Canary wharf in the morning, so if anyone is leaving from London let me know. Ill be coming down the M1 so maybe we can have a meeting point somewhere off the M1 for all M1 routed travellers? then could meet up with the other crowd?

South Mimms Services (M25) would be a good place for you London boys to meet up (say around 7.15-7.30am)

Although its hell on that stretch from Watford to the M40 turn off in the morning - in fact you'd be better off flying up the A41 and meeting me by the Tring turn off (say in The Crows Nest car park just as you come off the A41 at Tring) at around 8am. Then follow me across country to Wycombe.
