Top steering UJ replacement.

Hi Guys.
Bought a replacement for my wobbly top steering UJ and pondering what should be a quick job this weekend

I guess that parking up with the road wheels straight and the steering wheel centred is obvious, but is it best to secure the steering wheel to ensure correct return to original position?

Anyone with experience?

The steering column has a triangular section, that the UJ fits on to. It can therefore only fit back together in one of three places. I would suggest that you mark with a blob of paint beforehand where two matching corners are on the upper and lower column section - as long as you fit the uj back together so that those two blobs line up, everything else should still be in line.
