did anyone here go?

i know a few guys here are number plate dealers...

we went down there and bought a plate we'd had our eye on for a while. nice setting with the F1 museum next door etc etc.

horrible weather though & the spyder is disgustingly dirty now. its hardly seen rain before!

Was meant to have gone on the first day, saw two plates was really interested in but just couldn't get down there

Then realised the number I gave them was my old one as I had booked up for telephone bidding too..DOH banghead

Are the sold prices up yet do you know?

I bid online for one but didn't get it.

There's still more to go though, the rest of today and tomorrow.

Did you buy a plate for the G? Mind me asking what you bought?

On a side note, have the DVLA changed a few things on their web page? There was a time not so long ago when you could search ALL of their past aucitons....has this been removed?

Cheers

Thanks for this Simon (assuming the plate is not just random! ) Have you tried to use that search facility? Ive tried to find my plate and others I've looked at at auctions in the past and I cant get any of them to work. I wondered if the DVLA had gone al private on us??

Cheers
Jamie
