Hi - after some assistance please.

My V6 Freelander has developed a warm starting problem (fails to start when warm, but does after 10mins or so).

I have read elsewhere that this is likely to be the camshaft or crankshaft sensor failing.

Two bits of info I'm after (1) where are they physically located on the engine and (2) can others confirm that this is indeed most likely to be the fault?

Many thanks

oj

Don't know much about the KV6 itself, but I know on the K-Series its not uncommon for the Idle Air Control Valve to fail, which sounds a bit more like it

Try the cam sensor, it is fitted at the front of the engine under the engine NVH cover.
When you buy a new one you will have to buy the harness adaptor as they are now modified.
Any probs drop me a email rk.automotive@virgin.net
