Hi all,

Just been onto Porsche Reading as have PCM in my C4S want the telephone module fitted. Been quoted £800.30+vat for the module and £420.00+vat fitting.
Anyone have any comments or know where best to get this cheaper?
Thanks in anticipation

wouldn't a blue tooth car kit be cheaper? besides you could take it to the next car with you

Original phone module into PCM is extremely expensive. I got a similar quote but did not consider this worth it.

Don't do it. Not that good a system when it comes from the factory and is a pain in the arse to keep putting the SIM in the slot. I ended up buying another line and SIM and then diverting all my cars from my normal phone to my new line when in the car - hardly ideal.

Imagine my frustration when you find out that the phone intergration is prety useless with most callers saying that they could hardly hear me.

My advice, don't do it. I can see the attraction of using the stalk to navigate the phone menu or the M/F wheel but even so, the implementation is still fundamentally pants.

I'll second that. Most people I speak to on it ask if I'm under water.
