OK, only 2 months after the event, but finally got around to reviewing our Egypt holiday photos - I deliberately used it as an opportunity to try different stuff out. Not sure how well some of it worked, but all comments welcome.

Thanks,

Martin

Can't beat a good angle on a camel can you...

#1 is good.

#3 is interesting, but I can't quite get a sense of what it's all about

#1 I have to come back to - it does it for me...

Nice shots! I like the No2.

BTW, it looks like your sensor needs cleaning. (or at least tidy it up before posting as it really spoils it)

Cheers guys!

Beano - was that taken just before the camel ate the lens?!?

Gemm - agreed, noticed it myself - I tidied up the camel and the rope bridge, forgot about the landscape. Any suggestions on how best to clean it without sending it away? Oh...and 2 thru 8 are with your old lens, so thanks again!

GF - the road in the distance crossing this road is the one the quads use - this was just outside the 'back door' to our hotel complex.

BTW...#1 was taken with a little Powershot A75 3.2MP point-and-shoot...although I had manualised it as much as I could. I seem to have more success with sunsets/sunrises than anything else:-

Only one that doesn't really work for me is the last one.

Cracking shots!
