And the moral of the story is??

Id love to know what the situation is with some of the cars recently...some of them look real good, but if you read the PH classifieds, guy selling red 280FHC, seems to know the white one?????

could be that the red one knows the white one. maybe he viewed the car?

the red one is a bit obscure as it started for much more money and reduced the price again and again...for me the car has reached now a range where its more than ok, but due to the hisotry of pricve-dropping i feel not very "safe" to buy it.

i mean: whats the problem to sort out this "stupid" fuel pump problem and so can offer the car for a much higher price?

but from my "feeling" the red one is the better car of both.

I know what you're saying

Why has the price of the red FHC dropped so much due to such a pcerceivabley small problem

Ive already spoken with a guy who knows TVR's about the red one and if it is what he says it is....5 minutes and it'll be back on the road, quite literally

So the price reduction makes me a little cautious
