I need help quickly, again! Photoshop problem!

Ok, yes im still doing that art project but it needs to be in for tommorow, i have my box andi have decided to go for a CAD box (Computer aided design) and i am using photoshop. I have the basic layout but i want to render lens flare on the flash but it is greyed out in the options pallette. How do i get it ungreyed out because i have never had this problem before....

Wild guess. Is it a function which doesn't work with the particular image mode you're in? You know: 16 bit file or something?

The number of times I've scratched my head unable to do something only to realise you had to be in 8 bit or RGB or something......



(I don't honestly follow what you're trying to do - but clearly it's a function I don't use, so my problem!)

Wow, You did it! Thanks, i had it in greyscale and it needed to be in RGB god knows why it changed all on its own!?!?
