I'm in two minds over this.

Firstly, great set of pictures.

HOWEVER....it states on the link that photos of the production line are strictly forbidden.

So, that being the case, why the hell did some idiot take these???

Last year a bunch of us on the Minihoon went to the RUF factory in Germany. The chap taking us round to our regret said we couldn't take photos as some idiot took the piss on a previous tour, an owner found his car on the 'Net, and wasn't best pleased.

Can't say I'm impressed, as this sort of thing will possibly spoil it for future visitors to the factory.

Tremendous attention to detail!

As for the guy not being able to take photo's, if thats the case, the employees are remarkable cool about having a camera pointed at them.

There was a no photo rule when i was at the factory last year. One or two People in our group took secret pictures. I saw them. Easy to do. Also depends on the circumstances, i mean at the Zonda factory Mr Pagaini allowed my sons to take some pictures of the workshop. Even though it was a Zonda rule of no taking pictures.

We were allowed to take our cameras inside the factory at Lamborghini; our guide just politely requested we didn't use them. Which, of course, we didn't.

Ferrari impounded our cameras and mobiles at reception.

it depends on who is showing you around at Sant'Agata and whether they have had a Cappuccino beforehand. Officially you can't but there are some guides that let you.

When I went round a few months ago there was a guy from South Africa with his girlfriend who was obviously a model. She has hot pants on and not much else and I was dying to see the Italian shopfloor engineers reactions. It was hilarious. As she wandered up and down the engineers were rushing to their wall mounted phones and phoning further down the line to let their mates know..

The year before I went with my sister who speaks fluent Italian. Walking down the Murcie line the Engineers were obviously making comments about her, whereupon I asked the lovely italian guide what they were saying. Looking embarrassed she said they were commenting how lovely she was. Whereupon in perfect italian my sis said to her 'Thats strange I thought they were saying they wanted to fu*k me!'

When you consider the cultural differences, this translation is absolutely correct.

Good job, if you can get it...

When you consider the cultural differences, he does actually work.
