Mini Clubman 12" Sticky Tyres

Hi, Does anyone know of a good road legal track day tyre for a Mini Clubman. I wanted to use Yoko A048Rs but they only seem to come in 165/55/12. The regs for my sport of Hill Climbs & Sprints run by the ASWMC states I cannot use tyres below 60 profile so the 165/55/12 A048 would take me out of the Production car class. I don't think I can use the 175/55/13 as fitted to Sportspack Minis as it is a clubman body shell. I know Yoko do a A539 in the size I want but that tyre is not quite sticky enough for my 100 BHP at the wheels Mini. Help!

Further to my last a 165/65/12, 155/65/12 or 155/70/12 would do!

Hi Ben,
had you considered running 10" wheels instead? We ran AO48's on our mini last year (also with 100 hp) to good effect and that size is generally considered to be the best for handling.

Alternatively, try the PH classic mini forum for more options as there are many far more knowledgable posters than myself.
