2.0l 16v redtop 2oxe conversion

Can anybody help me please?

I have a Vauxhall 2.0l 16v redtop 2oxe- running on a set of CBR 1300 bike carbs, in a 1980 Mini city shell, I am struggling to get the engine to run properly, the wiring loom we are using is from a 20l 8v opal manta, all parts are brand-new and cost over 250 pounds, and sods law they don’t work, as the engine runs on two cylinders only.

If any body has a wiring diagram or knows how to wire it up please can you help?

Does the ngine use a wasted spark system?? if so, it could be the ... well, what used to be called a 'coil'........
