Just had a new set fitted to mine. Couldn't get hold of SO2's, not made anymore it appears. Had Toyo Proxes 245/45 16 @ £120 each and 205/55 15's @ £86 each, price inc fitting,tracking and camber. You could prob get them cheaper from the net, but then u got to get them fitted etc. Make sure you get someone who knows what there doing to set them up and also get them to put the right pressures in them cause lots of fitters seem to blast 32 psi into everything regardless !! Got mine at 22 back and 20 front if I remember correctly.

I recently bought a pair from www.tyretraders.com - excellent service. Their current price is £87.03 delivered, £99.96 fitted.

I quite sure that those are the standard sizes, and that is what is fitted to my '96 500, however, the owners handbook says the rears are 235/50/16.
I recently bought Toyo Proxes T1-R 245/45 ZR16 94W for the rear, at £85.80 each (supply only), including VAT and delivery, from www.mytyres.co.uk . I then had them fitted locally for £15 each including valves and balance. I'm sure you can also get a T1-R 205/55/15 for the front but note that they are only 'V' rated so you ought to confirm with your insurers that they accept these.

Should have said that the price was part of the service and inc the 4 wheel laser and setting up the suspension. I think this was lumped into the tyre price for invoicing purposes (I hope !! seeing the prices quoted)but if it wasnt then I will look a bit harder next time
