My new oil temperature gauge

Check out my new gauge!! 
I had is specially made by www.speedycables.co.uk
They were very helpful and knew exactly what I was talking about with TVR logos etc.
It matches the fuel gauge on the other side of the steering wheel perfectly.
Cost was around £80 so not cheap but you pays yer money.........
Will post some temperature findings soon.

Standby for the big pic.
I have fitted a new oil filter housing with a tapping for an electrical sender. See my previous thread here. It has the part number etc.
I have removed the clock. I figured I have a clock on the radio (and a watch) so I could fit the temperature gauge where the clock used to be.

You have to ask yourself, why the hell didnt TVR think of this in the first place! very tidy job!

Do you have a contact name in the company that did this for you I would like to get one, but want to make sure its the right thing, plus what did you use the for the oil pressure fittings or did you but new for the filter housing.
Now you've done all the legwork and got exactly what I wanted I would very much appreciate it if we could pick your brains and get a blow by blow including part numbers and contact numbers

Remote filter head:
Mocal RFH1B. From www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk
It flows right to left, has 1/2 BSP threads and a 5/8 UNF thread to accomodate a temperature sender.
The OE pipes are 5/8 BSP thread, so I purchased two male to male 5/8 to 1/2 BSP adaptors.
Gauge:
From www.speedycables.co.uk complete with 5/8 UNF sender. I was dealing initally with Tracy Ashby (tracy@speedycables3.fsnet.co.uk or 01639732213). It seemed to be no trouble at all for them to make a bespoke gauge. I told them exactly what I wanted and sent them some pictures of my existing gauges to make sure they knew the graphics I wanted. Guess you could send the picture of my gauge on this thread.
Odds and sods:
New oil filter
Some wire and connectors for sender and to earth filter housing. I used the earthing point in the passenger wheelarch area just by the filter housing.
Cost:
Filter housing £17.86
Clamp to hold housing to chassis £1.59
Adaptors £2.47 x2
Sealing washers £1.06 x2
Gauge £63.76
Sender £14.56
P+P £6.46
TOTAL: £111.29 (bugger wish I hadn't added it up now........)

Hmm, I'd pay that (plus fitting) for an o/p gauge - it's important information. As others have said, I really can't imagine why it was never a standard fit in the first place.
Next step: a thermo circuit to by-pass the oil cooler until the oil's up to temp
