How come 3 o'clock? I thought last year was the only time they changed the time from 4 o'clock, and that was because of the world cup. What could it be this year, bowls championship? tiddly winks european final?

Thats quite handy as I might see the end of the race for once before starting the "run for Rouen". I'm not sure how changing the start time of the race could impact elections but who am I to argue.

Why did they changed it to 4PM in the first place? It was that long ago I can't quite remember...

It was also announced that due to French elections the start of the race has been brought forward to 15:00 local time. There are plans to keep this start time in the future to improve media coverage and making it easier for spectators to travel to and from Le Mans.[/quote]
