check out blatchat for a solution. try drilling a really small hole in the base of the instrument to allow some of the water vapour to escape?

Clever chap I brought mine off had installed a switch so when driving during the day with head lamps on you can turn the dial lights off (but leave the headlamp switch illuminated) Not so much of a solution, but clever none the less!

I'm always driving too fast to even look at the dials!

Well know issue, mine did until I did the mod, either drill some holes or file a slot on the underside of the casing
