Castle Combe Allstar Run
Rides in hot sportscars in the name of charity
Discussion
I went along on Saturday. What a top day!!!!
It was great to see cars and driving portrayed in a positive light, as opposed to usual impression given by the majority of the media.
As it was pretty quiet I took the car on the track during the lunchtime break... worth every penny. There were only 4 other cars on the track!
The rides were excellent too it was great to see the Healeys being driven constantly sideways. (and all for charity you understand)
I'll definitely be going next year.
I'd like to see more of this sort of thing. Perhaps the ABD could start organising events like this, it would give a positive face to the organisation, whilst giving the opportunity to recruit new members and promote road safety.... Just a thought...

I was taking it steady mate, Trackday virgin you see. That's why Saturday was great for me with hardly anyone on the Circuit. I think I started to put in some reasonable laps towards the end though.
Anyway! since when has a 330 been a little BMW
. Did you manage to get the Porker sorted in the end??
Hopefully you'll be seeing more of me at trackdays from now on.
Cheers Dan
