Didn't go myself but I hear the hammer price was £58k plus commission. Taking it up to about £65k.

A very new LCUK Member was a near-bidder on the BG Countach, topping out at £54k... he's a Gallardo Spyder owner and is, (I believe), awaiting LP640 delivery sometime soon-ish (???)

Since the car only looked 'pretty good' and having approached his max. bid anyway, he pulled out of the bidding as the car also didn't take as firm a grip on his south-of-belt bits as he'd like it to have done.

He'd still like an immaculate 5000S or QV and has similar money as mentioned above available - contact me if you have such a quality of Countach for genuine sale BUT don't do that at all if doing so breaks PistonHeads protocols - you can reach me via the LCUK website!
