Hi All,

I'm currently running Pirelli Diablo Corsa's on my TLR and with its aftermarket suspension it is more than a little squirmy in the wet.

I'm gonna need to replace tires soon so would like suggestions for good rubber that i can use for the weekend 'hoon' plus a bit of all weather commuting.

I dont like to put the bike away when the rain comes out..

cheers guys and gals,

Nik

For a spot of commuting, I'd look at something dual compound, so the tyres don't sqaure off too soon. Lots of folks rave about Pilot Power 2CTs, they might be just what you need.

For commuting/touring I'm going to try the Pilot Road 2's out.

Steve.

I've got some of them on my R1 at the moment.....I wondered why it wouldn't corner quite right scratchchin....sorry..

My coat's already on boxedin

On a serious note I used Pirelli Diablo Corsa's for four years before switching to Michelin Pilot Power 2CT's....the Michelins are in a different league compared to the Pirelli DC's....give the Pilot Power 2CT's a go, I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Just thought I would also say Im now on my third front & fourth rear 2CT, they really are a very good tyre. The 2CT is excellent in the dry and better in the wet than the Pirelli DC. I wouldn't use any other tyre now.

Also have a look at this thread, the guy was asking more or less the same question www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=358689&f=74&h=0

I'm running Continental Road Attacks on my TLR at the mo and they're fine - had it right off the edges of the tyres on track the other weekend in sub zero temperatures and the tyres gave me no cause for concern.
