Just fitted my Rose Jointed ARB Drop Links. It took me about an hour (car already jacked up due to no wheels) whipped the old ones off, easy, thanks Mikeb for looking after the car so well, a quick rub up with emery cloth and slid the new ones on
This is the 3rd set I have fitted 350,400 and now 450 and I just know the Wedge will now feel planted ( as soon as I get some wheels on )

You was lucky, one went on quickly, the second took about an hour of sanding!

Can't blame Steve though, it must be unusual to have original paint on the ARB these days.

It better have original paint on it otherwise I wouldn't consider looking at it.

could some one tell me the benifits of fitting these droplinks to your car and how much you paid for them?
on a scale of 1-5 how hard a diy fit are they (1 being easy).

I agree, 2

Benifits .. they give a solid link between lower wishbone and ARB, taking out the 'play' you get from nylon/rubber bushes, they last a very long time, they make the front of the car feel a bit more stiff, cost £60 odd £££s.

worst thing is they are a tight fit on the ARB which will need to be cleaned to get em to fit

If "drop links" in the UK mean what a "stabiliser link" means here, IE: connects sway bar to lower control arm, it's a piece of cake. You might need a scissor jack to put under the lower baljoint to close the gap so holes line up, but it's a piece of cake. Just do it. it's two measly nuts and if you pay somebody to do it I will have to fly across the ocean and slap you.

drop links delivered today but hooning tommorow so with work wont get a chance to fit them untill next sunday weather permitting i wish i had a garage will let you know how it goes.
