Video set up for Track days
Discussion
I presume the Archos is a HD record system?
If so, I'd check the resolution it records at, how many laps you'll get on the disk and also how delicate it is.
I use a bullet cam and a regular mini DV - the advantage is I have dozens of hour long tapes from about 50 track days, and the camera is pretty robust so doesn't mind to much when I end up in the cat litter

.I had a friend who tried to use a hard disk camcorder in his Elise, the thing kept on shutting down due to vibration (and this was on a very smooth track) so he was disappointed as he had no recordings when he got home. Old fashioned tape is much more reliable in a hostile environment like a car.
