I've recently had my 993RS detailed.
I've always been a bit concerned about the "paint correction" process. I didn't like the sound of taking a layer of paint off just to make the car shiny.
Gurch reassured me and did a fantastic job. He meassured the total paint thickness with a super high tech digital paint depth gauge, and only took out less than 1% of the paint, and got rid of 99.9% of the swirl marks!
It took him a whole 2 days to do the job but I can honestly say the result is worth every single penny plus a bit more!
Gurcharn from www.elitedetailing.co.uk knows how to make the paint work look absolutely brillient without sacrificing the thickeness of the paint. I wouldn't let anyone else near my new pride and joy, he's the best and you could say a Porsche specialist, amoungst other high end exotica. I've seen / heard other detailers who appear to do a good job but take out half the paint in the process!
