Do you guys all use Super magic petrol or standard unleaded? If you use Super does it make a noticable difference?

Personally I use Shell V Power, which is the super unleaded equivilant I believe. From what I understand and have read on here, there can be a slight improvement on power, but hard to detect. I use it for the improved engine cleaning properties it apparently has.... If I get stuck though, I wouldnt have a problem putting a tank of standard juice in.

funny you should mention shell V - just filled up with that after worrying on the standard of tesco at the moment, works great seems more eager - doubt its an quicker mind - just 99p per liter

Only run mine on Super, although will use normal unleaded if I'm running low.

Without Super, I can definitely hear it pinking. Doesn't anyone else have this?

I found petrol with the latest additive pretty effective, silicone I think....

I use Shell V-Power but, if I have to, BP Ultimate.

David if its pinking you really need to get this sorted before it does serious damage, my 1st T350 pinked really badly until the second chip sorted it out

it did go in but first time round nothing was found wrong - i'm really wanting decats and or sports exhausts - when it goes in for that will get them to look again....
thanks

First few weeks after got dealer to give me a free full tank pinked like mad under full throttle....
Shell V-Power since then (or BP Ultimate if I can't get to a Shell garage - see previous thread 'What is wrong with my fuel gauge'!!!), and hardly any pinking under full throttle. Think I'm ready for 12,000 miles service and tappet adjustment to get rid of remainder of pinking and some rattles on cold startup

Hope it's nothing bigger/worse than that. Done 2000miles in a month, no problem!

Happy Bunny!!
