There is little around for us Honda MPV owner's in the way of clubs or forums, but last year I bought my wife a 1995 JDM Honda Odyssey 2.2 - and I just want to say, it is bloody brilliant.

It is my first Honda and is much better put together than I expected. I am, in general, a Euro car lover, the German stuff especially and thus I have high expectations, but the Honda is very well screwed together.

It has 6 seats, which is helpful as I almost have 4 kids - and although slightly underpowered 5 up with push chairs/changing bags and numerous toys it rarely complains. It has the best heating/a/c system of any car I have owned, with roof mounted controls and and blowers!

The fuel consumption is the only downside, although not unexpected. It hovers between 23-25mpg and even at 70-80mph it rarely gets better.

So - does anyone else have either an MPV or indeed a slightly less interesting model that rarely gets a mention?

If you are unfamiliar with the Odyssey – there is a review of the Shuttle which was the UK model: http://uk.cars.yahoo.com/car-reviews/

We have a Honda Stream - the 'sporty' MPV. Not exactly living up to Honda reliability (this is my 6th Honda) and the service from the Honda dealers is terrible. That said - for an MPV - the handling isn't as bad as you would expect.
