BMW S62 Engine (M5 400bhp V8)

Anyone know of a place where you could buy one of these engines?

or try and find a contact in germany or bmw

Fab direct seem to do a roaring trade in M engines.

Well spoken to a couple of places and being quoted between 7 and 8 k for used engines.
This sounds a little steep to me - or is it the going rate?

There's one on Ebay for £3500, buy it now. It's in Germany but for that price I'd hire a van and drive over.

Just seen the ebay one.

Theres another in east kilbride for 21 quid...(!)

However the 3500 one in Germay is reasonable mileage and price seems fair (especially with the gearbox thrown in).

I've mailed Morgan themselves to find out whether they woudl be interested in carrying out the work. I figure it's going to be horrifically expensive to do, still worth finding out at least...
