I've an 1997 elise. I've the 160 hp kit already fitted but I want more hp. But i still want to have the 160hp kit fitted. Are there tuning parts which would create more hp when my kit is still fitted. What wouldit cost, does it fit, how much hp would I get?
Does anyone has experience with this?

Depends which 160 kit you have fitted, but you could look at DTH throttle bodies with new engine management system, probably cost upwards of 2 grand once fitted and tuned on rr.
You could also get vernier pulleys fitted and get it set up on RR which should go some way to curing the flat spot between 3 and 4k revs that most 160s suffer.
Could get the head ported and gas flowed for around 500 quid. the list is endless.
Then again you could spend the money on driver training which would make YOU faster.

Have you modified the induction system and exhaust as this will release more power from the engine that is been restricted ?
