bonnet on boxster keeps popping up

Hi we have porsche boxster and the bonnet keeps popping up when I drive or if you activate the remote control. The porsche garage aren't even interested in fixing it

what do you guys recommend?

First change the batteries in the remote.

After that: yell more when asking the garage to fix it.

986 or 987? I believe with the 987 the dealers have a software update that just makes the car wait longer when the button is depressed before unlocking the bonnet.

The problem isn't an actual fault just a bit of poor design of the key.

check for water ingress under passanger seat as alarm controlmodule is under there...

Our 986 did that whilst under warranty. I think it was a solanoid.

the garage was trying to tell me that i have no warranty there, but i specifically remembered the saleman say i had a warranty until sep 2007, they added a year on. when i went there, they said its not covered by warranty but I am sure it is, hopefully they will sort something out. By far and away the worst and rudest garage i ever been to through wide variety of marques. Thanks CatherineJ
