After the few months of ownership the Freelander has been back to the dealer twice. The first time was for the brake calipers to be replaced as there was a leak. The caliper change also ment a brake pad replacement.

And now its in to sort out the dvd player. Three days so far to try and sort out a feedback to the headsets. Fingers crossed all will be sorted for tomorrow as my kids are creating hell in the back now.

The feedback on the DVD as yet cannot be cured. They have tried everything and I mean everything and its now up to Land Rovers boffins to sort it. £1500 to listen to sssssshhhhhssssszzzzzzz on the headsets just aint on. If its not sorted within seven days its coming out.

Yes it is... they have tried two systems and we are still getting feedback to the WiFi headsets.

1. checked the earth
2. changed system
3. spoke to indie hifi company
4. moved infra red
5. changed headsets
6. now speaking to Land Rover

If its not sorted its coming out and the type you just hang over the seats is going in. For the money its cost I would expect perfection and not some snake hisssssing in the headsets
