I picked my 54 plate murcei earlier this week from Lambo Birmingham. The rear light lense was misted up, and after asking, was told this is normal and will clear. The car has been in a heated garage for three days now and no sign of any mist going from lense!

Is this normal or am I being bluffed! - Also looked in handbook and it tells me I should have one key which is embosed with Lambo logo in gold. I have'nt got one and was told all cars don't have one?

Do they have tracker system like Ferrari's as standard?

The cars absolutely awsome - after Ferrari 360 Modena ( which I thought was one of the best!), this car really rocks! - would like to do some Lambo owners things too - any info?

Thanx

Neil

Yep, All rear lenses including front ones will mist, they should clear within an hour or so of the car being parked though, unless you park up in a humid environment?

Yip, mists up every time it's out.

Tends to dry out with big use on long journeys or when the engine gets very hot. My scoops came up the other day as it got very hot inside my engine bay at the track and I noticed that it was the first time I'd actually noticed the lights were ok.

So what did ya get and can ya get the pics up?

Cheers
Paul

Also are you coming to Silverstone on the 15th?

I had to replace my rear lenss and even with new ones there is still a bit of fogging every now and again. Lamborghini did run a 'rear light campaign' for a while but I believe this now has been discontinued!!

The seal around the edges of my rear lenses is starting to break, I was thinking of covering this up by using some smoked film to cover the whole light cluster, anyone know if I can buy the film precut in the UK? also what's the law re light visibility through smoked lenses?

I have only seen smoke spray but that generally looks rank! - never seen film though. may well look better. Thanx for your advice earlier - not what I wanted to hear but the truth anyway.

Weren't too bad, they came in at circa £330 each + VAT and a bit of carriage but that did include 10% trade discount!! I tried to reseal the old ones by scraping away the sealant and replacing with new silicone!! Not good, first time it rained the lamps filled with water and looked like a pair goldfish bowls!!
