Had my V8S for a year now, just 'serviced/mot' and ready for the Chatsworth run.
could do with the wheels 'fettling' not to bad no kerbing, just minor pitting, would hate to let the side down and be shown up by highly polished Tv's.

Any of you guys/gals know what this involves?. I'am in Bingley, West Yorkshire (Gods County) so must be within resonable travelling distance.

Can it be done in a day, what's the cost, or is it better to remove the wheels deliver them and collect later.

I have heard good things about these people who are not too far away. www.alloywheelrepairs.com The other alternative is hours of polishing by hand.

Usually theres some ads in the back of the free local auto mag that you can pick up at garages or supermarkets... as they are local, go and see them on a saturday and look at what they are doing and tell them what you want.
I paid £120.00 for four honda alloys to have tyres removed, blasted, etched, painted and tyres replaced and balanced two years ago... If you are after polishing only it should not be too steep.

Try Pristine Wheels in Milton Keynes, Lepsons in Gillingham Kent (admittedly both might be a courier delivery journey away with all the concerns that raises) or I had mine done by spit and polish - who I think are a countrywide franchised operation....(could be wrong tho'

bout £35 per wheel it cost me....

theres a firm in sheffield called g&b metal finishers on edward st, i had my wheels polished last summer.i had the tyres taken off at ats, dropped the wheels off at 8.30am and picked them up at4.45pm. they are now mirror polished and look brand new, all for £24.00 per wheel. regards Roy
