I have been a very happy owner of a tweaked Chimaera 500 for the last 4 years. Thanks to a certain Mr Humps letting me drive his car recently, my outlook on what was a great car changed immediately.
I have now done what I thought would never happen, and px'd my P&J for a 3R.

... and if your esteemed organiser had checked the events calendar before arranging the date for the Northants Run we could have gone en masse to Goodwood - after all it is Best of British day!
Chimaera vs Noble?
The first time I went in a Noble was in Humpys car. He was going down tiny country lanes in the rain with standing water, quicker than I would have dared go in the TVR in the dry.
After having then driven a Noble, getting back into the TVR I realised how much I had trained myself to hold back. I guess what I am trying to say is that the Noble is a much more confidence inspiring car than the TVR.
If you like to blat down country lanes, or go on the track, the Noble can't be bettered IMHO.
