Scoobs and EVO's.

Well my dreams of looking crazy BHP cars has been pi55ed on by the other half due to having to pay for a wedding this year.

I'm going to look at an 05 Sti PPP and an EVO 320 tomorrow. I will keep you informed as to how I get on, but before I even look at them I prefer the EVO.

You didn't HAVE to ask did you? Or does it involve double barrels?

No double barrels mate, just found I have to pay more than I thought, a lot more.

Always the way.

I've only just looked at your profile at the Liner *jawdrops* very nice, very nice.

Also the style of graphics I wanted to do on my last car but decided it wouldnt' suit it and a respray was a better option.

Skyline is sold.

I was going to spend about 30k on my next car but wedding plans have put an end to that.

So I reckon about 15-19K on a decent scoob or evo is next best thing as I don't fancy another Skyline at the moment.

£15-£19k could buy this

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2000-NISSAN-SKY

Then a few £k on an RB25/26DET(T) and you're laughing, all the practicality (sp?) of a Scoob or Evo, but a million times rarer cool

Well, its what I'd do anyway

At just over 20K you might be able to get an older (2004/2005)model Litchfield Type-25, but for the bargains of the year 2005 Monaro VXRs in the real world are 20 grand now.

I would go for a the STi over the Evo purely on running costs. But you can get new euro import STis for £21k now so going for a 05 plate for 19k seems a bit high. There are some 05 plates on the market for £15k at the moemtn which are a good buy.
