Here's my brief....

My wife and I fancy a half day of 993 training - including road and track work. We don't mind sharing the time with one instructor or perhaps splitting up and working with an instructor each (we should have access to another 993).

(I wanted to do a full day but my wife said that, if we're having a day away from work/the kids, she'd like some lunch and a bit of shopping in the afternoon!)

We don't want to become racing drivers but would, most importantly, like to find the limits of the car for road use and how to safely get the most out of it. And secondly, we'd like a little bit of fun on a track if that's possible too.

So nothing too serious or formal.

The name Bernard Aubrey has always stuck in my mind for this but I was wondering what everyone else thought. We live in Dorking so it would need to be held in the south east.

Thanks.

don palmer is very good but not sure he would do half a day, when I did a day with him i found there was a lot more theory as to why the car did what it did in certain situations rather than " if you do this - cue hard steering input, braking etc etc - the car does this ".

Don mixed all the theory with driving but too much to squeeze in a day.

Andy Walsh is great and might do half a day ?

Check the mags as there are a number of instructors listed and then check them out with advice from others here.

cheers

Can recommend both Dom and Bernard, Dom taught me in my old Boxster S and Bernard did a half day with me when I joined P1. Bernard is the 'gentleman racer' and would probably be preferable from a female perspective!
