Just purchased a new steering bearing to replace the worn bush on the floor/bulkhead. Are there any tips or pitfalls to look out for when fitting the bearing, cheers.
If you are using the plastic housing for the bearing, don't do the nuts up too tight as the plastic will split, I did this and had to get hold of a metal bearing carrier. Much better, but then ended up having to get longer bolts as well.
