Aure there was a topic recently on replacing headlamp bulbs with brighter ones but b***ered if I can find it using search. Anyone point me in the right direction, or let me have details on the type of replacement bulbs I need on my 996 to make the headlamps brighter ?

Nope - Get the HID kit from Aceparts. Comes highly recommended from me and the difference in the lights is astonishing.

And my Litronic retrofit Porsche kit from Carnewal didn't get much airtime, but I can tell you it's worth every penny.

If I was to buy a used Cayman (stop laughing at the back please!) without Litronic headlights and then ACE fitted his HID kit, would it give the same amount/type of light?
