Hi, hope someone can help. I recently bought a beautiful 993 varioram carrera 2 coupe with 18 inch wheels and lowered suspension. Has recently had new Bilstein shockers fitted. Goes brilliantly with just me in it but when I have a passenger the nearside tyre, sportcontact2s, touches the wheelarch when i hit bumps. Doesn't seem to be doing any damage yet but not very clever. Any suggestions about how I can get it adjusted?

Presumably the wheels are the right offset / tyre size? Have a look to see if the shocks have threaded collars, if so the ride height can be adjusted though the alignment / corner weight will need doing. Otherwise might need new springs I guess.

Edit: Your looking for something like this:

Do you know the specification of the suspension? It could be a number of fthings causing this. However, unless your springs have actually collapsed (very unlikely) it may just require the ride height adjusting by a small amount as per thye previous potsre.

Also check the wheel offsets as there are two sorts of 18" wheels - those that fit a narrow bodied car and those that don't but is more likely to be lowered too far and too soft springs.
