Hi all

04 T350. Is their anyway i can charge the battery without having to get to the battery direct. I have an Anderson connector to jump start, but someone told me their is a socket already wired ready for a charger to be plugged into it for easy charging use in the footwell somewhere.

Is this true or a load of cobblers or have i gotta start stripping the car to bits to access the battery?

Thanks in advance

Justyn

Hi
Great cars T350's-I have one myself.

OK you need to give us a bit more info.Is the problem starting, loss of power, will not turnover ?
I don't know if you have a fuse problem or a flat battery at this moment in time

If its a battery charging problem see below. If its a fuse see the FAQS at the top of the thread
You can get a battery charger lead from a dealerand its a good investment.Once you have one you plug it in as shown in manual under the car just aft of the passenger side.Used mine a couple of times due to car having an appetite for 100 amp fuses.

It will make life a bit easier.

The more you tell us the more we can help

Hi Justyn. wavey

If the battery is charged then an accumate is what you want. £45 from Leven. You plug it in via the cigarette lighter and it keeps the battery topped up. Works well, but no good for charging a flat battery.

Also if something is causing the battery to drain in may not overcome it, but then you will know if it needs looking at.

You can get an adaptor that plug the accumate into the Andersen connector for £15

If you have the Anderson connector lead then simply plug it in under the car and attach the battery charger to the +ve and -ve terminals and that should do the job.

I bought a battery conditioner/charger (can be left connected) for £19 from Halfords and an Anderson plug for £4 and fitted it to the end of the conditioner lead. Then plug iy into the Anderson connecter behind the front wheel. Job done for less than £25.00

Charged my Saggy battery from flat with one via the cig lighter. Took the best part of the week though.
