Just had the car (996 C2 1998 with 52k on the clock) serviced for the first time since I got it. Major 24k service with brake fluid change etc. After reading all the horror stories on here was extremely relieved to be told that my car's fine, no problems etc.
Service carried out by Autostrasse, established independent based in Coggeshall, Essex. (they'd been recommended to me and seem to reall know their stuff).
Cost - £472 all in (which was less than they originally quoted so well happy
So, the money I'd put by for "contingencies" can now be spent on some mods, probably starting with PSE !
