I want to change the oil & reseal the cover while I'm at it.
Which is the best oil to use & what type of sealant should I buy? Its an early (93) 4 litre.
Had a go at searching on the forum but the system just seems to hang then time out.

Assuming it is GKN Diff on a car this old...

Any decent EP90 (IIRC I used Millers from a well known Indie).

I think just common RTF silicone sealant. I saw the Gearboxman do mine ~ he lets you look inside before he seals it up ~ but he only used a single thin bead (harder done than said )

Cheers Dave, EP90? I thought that was a standard gear oil. Don't LSD's need something else?

Some say its not neccessary, but I would use one that is for LSD...

Found a note, I have "Millers 80/140 BM Fully synthetic LSD" guess there will be quite a few cars using this as it came from Joospeed, several comments on here have +ed it, & Bernie said it was nice too.
